Greetings From Our Chairman
Perry J. Moon
It is my pleasure to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Kappa Epsilon Lambda Education Foundation, Inc. Our Foundation was established in 1995, to stimulate the ambition of the youth in Prince George’s County, while preparing them to achieve success as they become productive members of their communities and society in general; with the hope, that one day these same students will be inspired to give back to the Prince George’s County community.
Each year, our 100+ members give of their time, skills, and financial resources to support our work, and additionally, dozens of volunteers and financial supporters allow us to make an impact on the lives of families in Prince George’s County.
The strength of our model is based on fostering responsibility, accountability, respect, and healthy relationships. We engage middle and high school youth in various youth development activities including mentoring, leadership development, life-skills development, relationship building, financial management skills, sexual health awareness, academic enrichment, an annual college fair, scholarships for high school students, and holiday food delivery services to families in need.
I invite you to learn more about the Foundation by perusing our website and following us on social media. It is because of our loving, committed, and dedicated members, partners, supporters, friends, and everyday citizens that we continually strive to be Servants of All.
